Once upon a blog posting, I would wake up each morning and write on whatever topic I felt I had some words to speak on. During this time, understandably, more people found my blog. I wrote a lot about mental health because I am psychologically disabled for post traumatic stress disorder and I’ve worked with providers since 2006, what has felt helpful or views I have learned from experience, feels important to share with whoever could benefit.
Writing inspiration comes in waves for me, the effort to discipline my Self to blog daily was very productive and short lived. Which is how most projects go in my life. Learning in 2023 I am actually autistic and ADHD had a liberating impact on my mental health. I no longer hold on to the belief I am damaged or defective. Neurological differences happen, it’s not a flaw in my character. Being assessed validated my suspicions and explained a lot to me, I’m still learning and with a completely different set of instructions on neurodivergence and sensory skills.
Fortunately, my day to day life does not require much hyper vigilance. I bought 2 acres of land on the predominant Bayou Teche in Louisiana with mature cypress trees. I grew up touring Shadows on the Teche for school trips and learned a lot about the heritage in these swamps. Even though I ran away from home into the US military as a teen and didn’t stop moving until my 30s, these swamps called me home. There’s something magical in the mud, I think.
Speaking of magical, I’ve also begun to embark on a journey exploring witchcraft; in particular green witch and kitchen witch because these are areas of consistent interest for me and I think it would be beneficial to have a touch of magical wonder in my nature endeavors. I already listen to the trees and talk to mother nature, I’ve done that all my life. Nature is where I am my most tranquil. Now I own a slice of these swamps and I’m ready to see what magick I can find.
All of this to say, I’m not certain what direction I want to take this blog and thought I’d ask you, the reader, who decided to follow my posts at some point. Which posts do you most enjoy seeing?

Specific roles assign notifications for different activities. Every Sunday 6PM EST we watch movies as a community.
